Who we are
Paalam-Südindien e.V. is a group of six individuals who are deeply committed to supporting socially disadvantaged communities in India.
Tina-Mareike Rumpf
Chairperson
Tina was born in 1988 in Blankenburg (Harz), Germany. She is a medical doctor and completed a voluntary service in 2007/2008 at a girls’ home in Tamil Nadu, South India.
Linda Ganguly
Deputy-Chairperson
Linda was born in Saxony in 1988. She is a primary school teacher and did a voluntary service in a children's home in Tamil-Nadu, South India, in 2013/2014.
Dorothee James
Treasurer
Dorothee was born in 1983 in Saxony, Germany. She is a psychologist and completed a voluntary service in 2009/2010 at a girls’ home in Tamil Nadu, South India.
Annika Zahn
Annika was born in Northern Hesse in 1985. She is a primary school teacher and did a voluntary service in a girls' home in Tamil-Nadu, South India, in 2007/2008.
Anna Bauer
Anna was born in Saxony in 1988. She is working as a teacher in a primary school day care. In 2010/2011 she was working in a girl's home during her volunteer service in Tamilnadu, South India. She is married with Reinhold Bauer.
Reinhold Bauer
Reinhold was born in 1990 in Saxony. He has a diploma degree in mathematics and is working in an IT company. In 2014/2015 he took part in a volunteer program supporting a home for boys near the east coast of South India. He is married with Anna Bauer.
